One of the slightly unexpected byproducts of this intestinal
rumbling the group's had over the past month is the delurking of a
number of wonderful people whom we haven't seen in a long time
(whether months or years).
I'd just like to say that it's really great to see you all again
here, even if it's just to pop up for a couple of posts; I've
missed you and I *think* I'm safe in saying that a fair number of
the group have missed you.
(And I /would/ follow up to each of you personally with variations
on the above; but I figured that it would be more efficient to say
it once to everyone, IYSWIM.)

Just to echo the sentiments - it's really nice to see that people are
lurking about and still interested in afp :-)

The instructions say "dilute with ten parts water" This is really important.

I'll AOL that as well. It is great to increase the diversity on afp -
and those thoughtful people who re-emerge after a period of rest are,
IMO, well above average in the quality of their contributions. Welcome
back, y'all, and keep posting gently. We love it (well I do, anyway).

It certainly is. And it's more people than you'd think. The other
evening, I logged on to #afp, and immediately had people who I didn't
think read the newsgroup anymore, talking about something I'd said
on-group that day.
Welcome back to all the returnees, and I hope there'll be some more
soon.

with liquids that rate below a Pomerol? And then he'll probably
come to the conclusion he doesn't want to compromise the wine
either, so, it's all understandable.

I hate to tell you, but it's far from uncommon to dilute wine with water in
France. I wouldn't be surprised if FiX drunk his share of diluted wine
while growing up.
